Can you feel your whole body? No really, your entire body. Can you tune in and feel your hands only your hands?
We all contain an innate intelligence of our bodies that is being lost. Our lives and bodies are being pushed beyond the ability to adapt and evolve. Tension & pain have become the norm so much so we’ve lost recognition to intuitively pick up on the signals.
The good news is we are so incredible that we can rescue our awareness and intuition by deepening our interoception and rediscover the areas we have forgotten. We must however, awaken our “somatic” or brain to body awareness. Through practice and reconnection we can tune into the forgotten places in our body, resume overall function and coordination and awaken from the freedom of pain and tension.
In this class, I will reintroduce you to your “felt perception”. Through slow mindful movements you will learn to contract and release areas in your body and gain newfound awareness of unserving habitual movement patterns. Chronically contracted muscles and stiffness will be erased allowing greater ease in movement and less pain.
These classes are designed for anyone interested in greater awareness and a deep and profound “self-feeling” of your own anatomy. Come unwind stiffness, pain and postural imbalances allowing yourself to return to a state of peace and ease.
